This one was so fun to do. They had a destination wedding and came back to Iowa for a reception in Ames on New Years! It was a fun reason to get dressed up myself. I did a fun hair style that I hadn’t done since college, and since being a mom, I already spend 12 hours on my make up, I don’t have any extra time to do my hair. I took a gold elastic head piece that I got from Forever 21 and put it onto my head like a head band. Then I took my hair and rolled it up into the head band to create a fun twist at the nape of my neck. I then pulled down some small strands of hair to create it more boho. This was my compete look. ———>
My dress was from Target and my necklace from a story in Jordan Creek which has become my favorite, Dry Goods. My look was finished off with a dark lipstick from NYX!
This is the bride Molly. For her look I used a variety of combinations of eyeshadow from the Naked 3 palette. Her dress and hair were very beachy even though it was maybe 10 degrees out and snowy in Iowa, so I kept it bronzed and shimmery, nothing to dark. We applied false lashes and I used my Kat Von D liner in Trooper for a darker eyeliner with a small wing. She doesn’t normally wear eye liner on her bottom lashes but since it was a NYE reception, we added a small amount and smudged it out so it wasn’t too harsh. In the inner corner eye we used Nylon by MAC , a water proof mascara, Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade in Blonde on her eyebrows, Nars foundation (not sure which shade), Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit in Light, and BECCA highlight in Opal.
The follow ladies are her bridesmaids. I used the same products on all the girls.
I know, I’m lazy and typing everything out again isn’t happening, especially since Kerrigan is making noise in her crib, damn short naps!
I have two more weddings to post, however I’m waiting on replies from the photographers for consent to use some of their photos 🙂
